Crafted from black walnut, Board No. 3 showcases the deep chocolate tones and flowing grain that make walnut one of the most sought-after hardwoods. The surface carries a rich movement of grain across the board, framed by subtle sapwood edge accents that add natural contrast along the lower edge.
A natural split in the wood is stabilized with a walnut bowtie inlay, carefully fitted to reinforce the board while preserving the character of the original slab. The inlay blends harmoniously with the surrounding grain, creating a quiet structural detail that feels integral to the piece rather than decorative.
The board is shaped with softly sculpted edges and a circular handle opening that allows it to be comfortably carried or hung for display when not in use.
