The dark resin creates a strong visual line that separates the slabs while emphasizing the natural grain movement of the walnut on either side. The contrast between the rich brown heartwood and the dark river gives the piece a striking yet balanced presence.

A defining element of this table is its sharply defined custom edge profiling. Rather than following a traditional live edge or simple roundover, the edges were carefully shaped to create crisp, deliberate lines that frame the tabletop.
