This bistro table is crafted from a slab of curly maple featuring dramatic ambrosia beetle activity concentrated across one portion of the surface. The intricate network of galleries left behind by the beetles creates a striking natural pattern, spreading outward across the grain and forming a visually explosive focal point within the tabletop.

Each of these channels and voids was painstakingly cleaned and stabilized before being filled with a copper-pigmented epoxy.
